UCLA running back Paul Perkins will enter his name for the 2016 NFL Draft. Perkins announced his intention on his Twitter account Tuesday evening.
Perkins rushed 237 times for 1,343 yards and 14 touchdowns this fall, closing his Bruins career with a 68-yard effort in a loss to Nebraska in the Foster Farms Bowl.
He led the Pac-12 a year ago with 251 carries for 1,575 yards and nine touchdowns.
Perkins closed his career with 3,491 rushing yards and would have been a strong bet to break Johnathan Franklin‘s UCLA rushing record (4,403 yards) had he returned in 2016.
