Georgia Tech has lost two straight games, and now the Yellow Jackets have lost another linebacker. Beau Hankins, on his Twitter profile this morning, announced he is parting ways with the program, although Paul Johnson and Georgia Tech have yet to confirm this roster change.
As his Twitter statement says, Hankins anticipates graduating from Georgia Tech and intends to continue playing football elsewhere. Georgia Tech previously lost Anthony Harrell to a transfer, to Florida. The loss of Hankins means Georgia Tech now must solidify Tyler Marcordes as the starting middle linebacker for the rest of the season. Marcordes is third on the team in total tackles so far this season, with 16.
