Missouri’s upset win over BcS No. 1 Oklahoma Saturday night has been tempered somewhat Sunday evening by a likely season-ending injury to one the Tigers’ defensive line stalwarts.
Starting nose tackle Dominique Hamilton suffered a broken ankle in the Tigers’ win and, according to head coach Gary Pinkel, will likely be lost for the remainder of the season.
The junior suffered the injury in the first quarter and, obviously, did not return.
Hamilton was a big part of a Mizzou defense that is currently ranked No. 23 in the country against the run and No. 5 scoring defense.
