Surprise? UCLA’s oft-injured QB Prince questionable for spring ball

“Questionable” has been the story of Kevin Prince‘s life thus far at UCLA. The injury-prone sophomore has seemingly never been healthy enough to start consistently in two seasons as the Bruins’ quarterback.

Midway through last season, Prince was mercifully put out of his misery thanks to a season-ending -- and much needed -- knee surgery. Unfortunately for Prince, that surgery may delay his return longer than expected.

“He’s still questionable for spring practice,” Rick Neuheisel said in article from the Orange County Register.

Prince resumed throwing last month, but has not been able to do much else. In the event that Prince has to miss some, or all, of spring drills, fellow soon-to-be junior Richard Brehaut will likely get the first team reps. Brehaut played in 9 games last year, many of which he started for the injured Prince.
