Former Huskers QB Cody Green reportedly looking to visit Trojans

The last time we checked in on former Nebraska quarterback Cody Green nearly a month ago, he was considering a handful of transfer destinations including Tulsa, Houston, Texas A&M, Kansas State and Baylor.

It looks like we can add USC to that list as well.

In an interview with ESPN’s Joe Schad, Green said he planned on visiting the Trojans as early as next week and is considering a transfer there.

Green said he has a “positive relationship with several USC coaches”.

Green has already visited Kansas State and Tulsa and says he plans to visit Baylor soon. Green, a highly touted quarterback from Texas out of high school, lost the quarterback battle this past year to freshman Taylor Martinez. In all, he played in 17 games during his time in Lincoln, starting four of them.

The former ‘Husker received his official release from Nebraska in May.
