Florida State quarterback EJ Manuel, despite gaining traction in the injury to his non-throwing shoulder of the past couple of weeks, was still considered to be a game-time decision for the ‘Noles against Wake Forest today.
However, Manuel is still a no-go.
Redshirt freshman Clint Trickett is getting his second consecutive start for Florida State as Manuel sits on the sidelines. Tricktt threw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns two weeks ago in his first start against Clemson -- 35-30 loss.
So far, Trickett is off to an average start with 3-of-6 passing with an interception late in the first quarter.
