Following the expected, but nevertheless powerful announcement that Penn State president Graham Spanier and head football coach Joe Paterno had been ousted by the school’s Board of Trustees, coverage of the evening turned to the Penn State campus. It was a wild and surreal scene as students gathered outside and all through campus, some upset over the BOT’s decision, others in wonder.
NBC caught up with some students and members of the Penn State community earlier before tonight’s announcement to get their thoughts on who should stay, who should go and when.
