Ex-BC coordinator lands at Temple

Five months after taking a medical leave of absence from Boston College, Kevin Rogers has found another gig in the coaching profession.

Citing multiple sources, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Temple has hired Rogers as its new quarterbacks coach.  A school official would only confirm to CFT that an announcement regarding additions to Steve Addazio‘s coaching staff could take place at some point this week.

Rogers served as BC’s offensive coordinator for two games last season before an unspecified health issue forced him to the sidelines.  Prior to that, he served as QBs coach for the Minnesota Vikings.

Rogers becomes the second assistant with very recent ties to BC to land with the Owls; it was reported over the weekend that Eagles wide receivers coach Ryan Day has been hired as co-offensive coordinator.
