OSU’s Storm Klein facing domestic violence charge

Storm Klein, Tyler Hansen AP

For the second time this offseason, first-year Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is facing an off-field situation involving one of his players.

According to BuckeyeNation.com, linebacker Storm Klein was arrested Friday and is facing charges of domestic violence and assault.  Or, at least, the website has couched the situation as “[a] man matching the description of Buckeyes linebacker Storm Klein” and “a 6-foot-3, 240-pound man with blonde hair named Storm Klein.”

The school has not confirmed that it is the real Klein facing the charges.  Additionally, no details were made available as to what led to the arrest.

While Klein started 10 games last season, he was No. 2 on the depth chart headed out of spring practice this year.

In early June, tight end Jake Stoneburner and offensive lineman Jake Mewhort were charged with “obstructing official business.”  Each player was indefinitely suspended and had their scholarships revoked for the summer.

This is only the second time so it’s 10% of player arrests he had to deal with in Florida.

I could really care less about the two guys peeing in an alley, but this is a great deal more serious.

All you buck haters are morons look at all the other teams this summer who’s players have been getting into trouble don’t act like its just the bucks or Myers

If “domestic violence” means a woman was the victim, he should be suspended immediately, pending an investigation, and be banned from football if found guilty. If he hit a woman he’s a coward and a thug.

I’d prefer to know the full story, let’s not forget how the legal system defines certain crimes, nor which gender it favors. If he truly is a douche, then he deserves to be kicked out of the program.

Knowing Urban and his tolerance for drug users, drunk drivers, criminals, thugs, and thiefs, Klein will receive a “punishment” of 4 laps around the end zone.

Guess you were wrong about the laps. Guess you were wrong about a lot of things. Guess you’ll try to justify it somehow. Hate on
