Sooners O-lineman sidelined with knee sprain

Injuries have hit Oklahoma’s offensive line hard this season, and now you can add one more to that list.

Bob Stoops said Monday that starting right tackle Daryl Williams will miss the remainder of the season with a knee sprain he sustained in Saturday’s win over West Virginia. There is hope, however, that Williams (pictured, No. 79) could return in time for the Sooners’ bowl game, wherever that may be.

The Sooners have had all kinds of problems up front with injuries. Starters Ben Habern and Tyler Evans were lost to season-ending injuries and a handful of other linemen have been in and out with various nagging injuries.
