Leave it to our ticker being reset by the most collegiate of reasons: alcohol.
Very early Sunday morning, the Ames Tribune reported, Iowa State’s Jordan Wallace was cited for underage possession of alcohol. Other than the implied “college-age teenager being a college-age teenager,” no reason for the citation was given.
Head coach Paul Rhoads said in a statement he’s “aware of the situation” and that the football program is “now in the process of gathering more facts and information.”
Wallace was a two-star member of the Cyclones’ 2015 recruiting class. He has been expected to take a redshirt for his true freshman season.
