Ferentz’s son one of three Iowa players hit with suspensions

Both offensive lineman James Ferentz and defensive tackle Kyle Calloway have been suspended for one game as a result of offseason legal incidents, Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz revealed today.

The younger Ferentz was cited for public intoxication earlier this year, his second alcohol-related arrest in less than a year. Calloway was charged with driving a moped while intoxicated this past June.

Additionally, Ferentz announced that cornerback Shaun Prater would be suspended for two games.

Prater was arrested in February for driving under the influence.
