Buckeye guard out ‘several weeks’

Ohio State will be without the services of starting lineman Justin Boren for a period of time, the Columbus Dispatch is reporting.

According to the paper, the guard “is expected to be sidelined for several weeks” with a knee injury. It’s unclear if Boren will be available for the season opener against Navy.

The good news is that Boren’s ACL doesn’t appear to have suffered the damage.

Boren sat out last season after transferring from Michigan, and is expected to be one of the veteran anchors on the Buckeyes’ offensive line.
