After first fearing an injury to his ACL and losing the defensive lineman for the season, BYU will instead be without tackle Russell Tialavea for two to four weeks, the Salt Lake Tribune is reporting.
A MRI performed yesterday revealed a high-grade MCL sprain in Tialavea’s knee. While it will put the DT out for up to a month, it’s a better conclusion than the original prognosis on the injury.
Tialavea suffered the injury in BYU’s loss to Florida State.
