‘Noles could be without top DT for BC game

An injury could cost Florida State their top interior defensive lineman for the next game against Boston College, the Miami Herald is reporting.

Freshman defensive tackle Jacobbi McDaniel suffered an injury to his right knee during the Seminoles’ loss to South Florida this past Saturday, and may not travel with the team for the ACC match-up.

After reviewing the game film, the Herald writes, McDaniel was angered by what he thought was a cheap shot from a Bulls lineman that led to the injury.

McDaniel, who leads FSU’s line with nine tackles -- three for losses -- was held out of practice yesterday. According to the Herald, even if McDaniel makes the trip to BC, he would likely see limited action.
