Rumored for months to be in the works, the TCU-Oregon State game at Dallas Cowboys Stadium is apparently closer than ever to becoming a reality.
According to The Daily Skiff, TCU’s student newspaper, by way of the Dallas Morning News, the two schools met on Monday to begin finalizing contracts.
Associate athletic director for football Jack Hesselbrock told the paper that OSU has already signed the contract for a game that would open both school’s 2010 season. TCU “is currently reviewing its contract with the university’s legal council.”
TCU officials are expected to sign the contract in the next couple of days.
