Another Kiffin lands at USC

What could possibly be better than two Kiffins leading the Men of Troy? Why, three Kiffins of course.

According to the Lincoln Journal Star, 28-year-old Chris Kiffin has decided to leave his job as an offensive intern on Bo Pelini‘s Nebraska staff and join his brother Lane and father Monte at USC. Chris Kiffin will be a defensive administrative assistant with the Trojans.

“The No. 1 thing for me was going to work for my father,” Chris Kiffin said of the legendary NFL and college defensive guru. “That’s what made it an easy decision for me. Obviously, leaving Nebraska is the tough part, because it’s been so great here. Working for Coach Pelini has been so great.

“I loved the atmosphere created in the athletic department. And it doesn’t hurt that I met my wife here.”

The younger Kiffin told the paper that he will break down video of USC opponents, help put together scouting reports and aid in the Trojans’ recruiting operation.
