One thing is certain: Kansas offensive lineman Brad Thorson suffered a broken foot Friday morning.
What’s unclear, however, is whether the break will force Thorson will miss any games in 2010.
A rumor making the rounds on the Internet message boards is that Thorson will be forced to undergo surgery and miss a portion of the upcoming season. However, a source told the Lawrence Journal-World that the lineman would be ready to go for the start of the season.
As Thorson started 12 games last season -- eight at left guard, four at right tackle -- new head coach Turner Gill is crossing his fingers for the latter outcome.
