Pair of Sun Devils arrested on burglary charges

Two members of the Arizona State football program have found themselves in a wee bit of legal hot water for an “incident” that occurred ten days ago, the Arizona Republic is reporting.

According to the paper, freshmen defensive tackle Lee Adams and offensive tackle Jamil Douglas were arrested Monday on suspicion of second-degree burglary.

According to an ASU Police Department report, the football players were arrested for stealing two laptop computers and video-game equipment. The report also states surveillance video shows Adams and Douglas entering the apartment at the time of the burglary.

Both players have been suspended indefinitely by head coach Dennis Erickson.

Adams has played in one game this season, while Douglas is redshirting.
