There’s more bad injury news for UCLA -- as if there wasn’t enough already -- as it appears offensive lineman Sean Sheller will have season-ending injury on a broken arm he suffered in a 49-20 loss to Texas.
The Los Angeles Times writes that Sheller had his arm caught between two helmets on a play near the goal line and will need plates and screws placed in his arm.
Yikes.
Unfortunately for Sheller, who is a sixth-year senior, the injury not only ends his season, it ends his career. Sheller has had a history of injuries in both of his knees, injuring his right knee in 2006; his left in 2008.
