Arkansas O-lineman reinstated following arrest

On the same day Arkansas got their head coach Bobby Petrino back from a scary motorcycle accident, the Hogs also welcomed back offensive lineman Jason Peacock.

Peacock, as you may recall, was hit with one charge of felony theft of property last month when he admitted to using a stolen debit card to purchase $35 worth of gas -- hey man, that stuff’s expensive nowadays -- at a local convenience store. The senior was then suspended indefinitely by Petrino.

Peacock’s court date is set for April 16.

But today, Peacock (pictured, No. 71) was back practicing with the second-team offense, and offensive coordinator Paul Petrino added that the lineman was “full-tilt” with the team again. Petrino did not comment further on the matter.

It’s been busy offseason for the Hogs, as receiver Kane Whitehurst was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia over the weekend.
