One of four Tide players arrested charged in separate incident Sunday

As it turns out, Eddie Williams’ arrest Monday was his second brush with the law in as many days.

By way of al.com, the true freshman defensive back at Alabama was arrested Sunday for carrying a pistol without a license. He was released the same day on a $500 bond.

As was the case with Monday’s incident, no details have been made available.

Monday, Williams was booked by the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Department on charges of second-degree robbery and fraudulent use of a credit/debit card. Tide teammates Tyler Hayes and D.J. Pettway were also charged with second-degree robbery, while Brent Calloway was charged with fraudulent use of a credit/debit card.

The school is expected to release a statement at some point in the not-too-distant future.
