AP: Big Ten, Pinstripe Bowl to announce agreement on Monday

With conferences looking to reshuffle their bowl lineups for the 2014 season, reports that the Big Ten and ACC would meet in the Pinstripe Bowl have been popping up over the last couple of months.

According to our buddy Ralph Russo at the Associated Press, an agreement between the Pinstripe Bowl and Big Ten is set to be announced on Monday. Brett McMurphy of ESPN.com adds that the agreement is for six years.

The Big Ten would replace the Big 12, which is looking to have a larger bowl presence in Florida. The ACC is also expected to become the Big Ten’s opponent for the Pinstripe Bowl, replacing the Big East.

The Big Ten is also reportedly close to landing a spot in the Holiday Bowl, another postseason game that currently has a tie-in with the Big 12.
