Army confirms more games to be played at Yankee Stadium

Army conjured up some college football nostalgia a few years ago when it faced Notre Dame in Yankee Stadium. The Black Knights aren’t done playing in the Bronx just yet, though.

Army’s athletic director, Boo Corrigan, confirmed to the Times Herald-Record that the academy will play UConn in 2014 and Rutgers in 2015 at Yankee Stadium. Additionally, Army is ironing out some details to play Notre Dame at the baseball stadium in 2016.

Per FBSchedules.com, Army will play Rutgers in 2015 on Nov. 21 and UConn will replace Boston College on the 2014 schedule.

Army’s previous games in Yankee Stadium in 2010 and 2011 came against the Irish and Rutgers, respectively.
