Cardale Jones vs. Joakim Noah, it’s on!

Joakim Noah is a former Florida Gators basketball player who is currently playing for the Chicago Bulls. As you may recall, Noah was a part of Florida’s back-to-back national championship squad in 2006 and 2007. One of those national titles came at the expense of Ohio State, which ironically enough happened just months after Urban Meyer and his football Gators romped Ohio State in the BCS National Championship Game. So you can imagine Noah feels as though he has the upper hand on Ohio State.

Just don’t tell that to Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones, who was not afraid to fire back at Noah Wednesday night.

Ohio State’s national championship football team was honored during the NBA Playoff game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Noah’s Bulls. On the bench, Noah reportedly mouthed “you ain’t in the SEC.” Perhaps Noah missed the Sugar Bowl semifinal in the College Football Playoff between the Buckeyes and the SEC champion Alabama Crimson Tide. Right there, case closed. Once you have the scoreboard argument in your favor, there is no more battle to be fought.

Noah’s supposed comment made its way to Jones though, and the 12 Gauge fired back.

Jones has become a bit of a Twitter star for one reason or another, and this is just his latest example of why you should probably be following him.
