Third time’s no charm: VaTech RB Williams out again

For the third straight week, Virginia Tech’s leading rusher in 2009 will not be able to take the field due to injury.

According to the school’s Thursday injury report, Ryan Williams is listed as out for this weekend’s non-conference game with Central Michigan. Williams suffered a hamstring injury in the first half of a win Sept. 18 and has been out ever since.

Darren Evans has started in place of Williams and leads the Hokies with 324 yards and four rushing touchdowns. David Wilson has further filled the running game hole with 217 yards and two touchdowns.
