Report: Storm Klein ‘violently’ grabbed victim, slammed her into door

Storm Klein, Tyler Hansen AP

Though many of the details surrounding the arrest of former Ohio State running back Storm Klein remain unknown, at least a few have come to light. Suffice to say, however, they aren’t pretty.

Via a police report of the incident, the Columbus Dispatch reports that the alleged victim in the incident, which took place last Friday, was the mother of Klein’s child. The report goes on to say that Klein, according to the victim, “‘violently and purposely grabbed’ her by the forearms and slammed her into the front door, causing an abrasion and swelling to the left side of her forehead and scrapes on both of her forearms.”

The full incident report was not released by the paper.

The would-be senior was dismissed from the team two days ago and faces charges of domestic violence and assault. If Klein’s charges change, there is the possibility he could return to the team. Neither Klein nor anyone representing him has commented on the matter.

Klein played in 38 games during his career with the Buckeyes and started 10 times at middle linebacker last year.

Good riddance. Anyone who uses violence against women or children is scum, regardless.

    old news. who cares?
I’d rather see an update on the thuggery of Miami U. Cocaine, abortions, yachts, hookers, free hand-outs of ca$h….what happened to that story media?
PSU is terrible. I think they deserve the death penalty for THE worst scandal in sports…but, Miami U. has gotten a free pass. Not fair, really.

I never know what to make of this sort of situation(we still lack many facts)… I beleive highly in “you don’t want none, don’t start none.” No adult, that doesn’t want to get hit back should hit someone else. I don’t know if this is the case here, but I’m glad Storm was chucked off the team, at this time.

Lets wait to see what transpires in the court room

“”….according to the victim, “‘violently and purposely grabbed’ her by the forearms and slammed her into the front door, causing an abrasion”"

According to the victim? Sorry guys, on the possibility the “victim” is lying I’ll wait for more details before I convict the guy.

Right, ghengy. Let’s hear BOTH sides of the story and that of any/all witnesses first. Maybe he did exactly what she said. Maybe she’s lying. We’ll see.

You do this at Florida, you get to run steps in the spring.

    AC Leonard is chuckling.

Oh my how things have changed without the “Vest”. This guy would have only had to sit out the first quarter of the Nobody State game.

ANYONE who doesn’t think this guy will suit up for OSU this year is smoking weed! And I’m not talking about the stuff they have in Buffalo. I’m talking about the stuff they got in Gainesville, FL!

    @steeler1nation

It’s not Miami U. It’s the University of Miami. The NCAA isn’t done with its investigation, UM has not gotten a free pass. What happened at UM cannot be compared to the atrocity that happened at PSU.

If you are basing your opinion off of the Yahoo report you have no idea what you are talking about.

If anything can actually be proven, of course the players should be punished and the school should lose scholarships etc. Death penalty wouldn’t work in this case if you understand what it takes to get a death penalty. There are some accusations that do have credible evidence though but none of which you noted.

The majority of the report’s “evidence” was the word of Schapiro. A convicted felon, who is a liar and had an ADMITTED vendetta against the school. The abortion you are referring to. Shapiro supposedly paid for it and didn’t tell the player and the only evidence was the felon’s word that it happened. Because that’s concrete right? And how can the player be in trouble, if by Shapiro’s word, he had no idea it even happened. They chose to print that allegation anyways without any evidence.

The credit card charges are also, only corroborated by Schapiro’s word. The things the reporter does backup with, that aren’t just the felon’s word, aren’t even violations. In one instance, Yahoo says that one player went to Schapiro’s various homes, ate with him at different restaurants and the only evidence is text messages between the two…. after the player left UM. Did you even look into what this guy wrote? There were other stories all over the place showing how this Yahoo report didn’t have any actual evidence.

The main person who started this all was Nevin Shaprio. A guy who’s lying became his business and wound up lying so well that he made over $900 million dollars from it. He’s said he wants UM to get the death penalty.

The majority of these allegations, happened during the Larry Coker era. Randy Shannon specifically told players to stay away from Schapiro. That’s probably the only good thing Shannon did for the school, he was a crappy coach. Even the President of the NCAA said this was a media circus.

Probably something happened, definitely NOT to the extent of 72 players that they initially reported.

It’s pretty bad this happened in early July and I’m just now hearing about it. But I think it’s even worse that no one has pointed out this article refers to Storm as a running back.
