LSU latest school connected to Braxton Miller

No one even knows if Braxton Miller will actually transfer from Ohio State, but that hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from churning out potential landing spots for the quarterback.

Already, Florida State, Oregon and Duke have been mentioned as potential transfer destinations. Now, a fourth school has been added into the potential mix.

Citing unnamed sources, television station WAFB in Baton Rouge wrote on its website that “there is a likely scenario that two-time Big 10 MVP Braxton Miller could be leaving Ohio State to play for LSU.” What that “likely scenario” may be was never made clear, and there was precious little detail contained in the report.

There’s also a report that the finalists for Miller, who OSU head coach Urban Meyer said he expects to return to the Buckeyes for the 2015 season, are Oregon and LSU.

Miller’s connection to the Tigers comes a day after another report surfaced that Everett Golson had contacted LSU regarding a potential transfer from Notre Dame. Malik Zaire will likely head into spring practice with a slight edge for the starting job with the Irish, which could prompt Golson to at least take a peak at other programs even as he tells the public to "[d]on’t believe everything you hear.

As graduate transfers, both Miller and Golson (with a waiver) would be eligible to play immediately this season at an FBS school, provided, you know, they actually decide to transfer.
