Zac returns to practice, Stillwater DEFCON level lowered

There has been much wailing and gnashing of teeth coming out of Stillwater regarding the nagging hamstring issue being nursed by quarterback Zac Robinson.

The wail and gnash can be considered assuaged as “The One Whose Health Is of the Upmost Importance to Any Type of Success in 2009" has returned to practice.

As expected, at least by those OSU fans who crossed all available appendages and knocked on every wooden object within arm’s reach.

Regardless of what got him there, the Oklahoma State quarterback returned to his normal under-the-center duties for the Cowboys on Tuesday, just as head coach Mike Gundy said last week he would.

Robinson missed an entire week’s worth of practices, plus Saturday’s scrimmage, but it all goes back to Gundy seemingly being proactive and letting his horse rest too long as opposed to rushing him back too early and having him come up lame.

At which point Zac would’ve had to be put down, and euthanization is not something Oklahoma State needs right now.

Especially at the quarterback position.
