Contrary to a report from earlier this week, Ohio State will have defensive lineman Rob Rose available for the Rose Bowl, the Columbus Dispatch is reporting.
ESPN.com had reported that Rose, along with wide receiver Duron Carter, would be ineligible to play in the bowl game. The Buckeyes confirmed on Thursday that Carter was indeed ineligible.
If there were any academic issues like the ones that sidelined Carter, Rose apparently straightened them out, the Dispatch reported.
The senior played in 11 games this season.
