Former Pitt tight end lands at Wisconsin

Earlier this month, former Pitt tight end Brock DeCicco made it public that he was, at the very least, considering a transfer from the Panthers because he felt he wouldn’t fit into new coach Todd Graham‘s spread offense.

So, naturally, DeCicco has transferred to a place far more befitting to his 6-foot-5, 240-pound frame: Wisconsin.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette writes today that DeCicco has officially moved on to Madison and will play for the Badgers. Per NCAA transfer rules, DeCicco will have to sit out the 2011 season.

DeCicco had two receptions in 2010, both for touchdowns. DeCicco was a three-star member of the Panthers’ 2009 recruiting class, and the No. 14 TE in the country according to Rivals.com.
