Two weeks after JT noted that Texas Tech defensive line coach Terry Price would be leaving the Red Raiders to join former conference rival and new SEC member Texas A&M, that news has indeed come to fruition.
A&M made the announcement official today.
“I am extremely pleased to name Terry Price as our defensive line coach,” coach Kevin Sumlin (pictured) said in a statement. “He is an Aggie, an SEC coaching veteran, a terrific recruiter and an even better person.”
Price was a D-lineman for the Aggies in the late 1980’s. Price also knows his way around the SEC too, having coached under Tuberville at Ole Miss and Auburn. In all, Price’s time in the SEC spans over a decade. He was at Texas Tech just one season.
