Another Arizona player charged in party brawl

Thursday brought word that one Arizona player allegedly involved in an “altercation” late last week had one of the two charges he was facing dropped.

Now comes word that yet another Wildcat football player has become entangled in the off-field mess.

According to the Arizona Daily Star, defensive tackle Justin Washington has been charged with one count of first-degree criminal trespassing for his alleged role in the house-party fracas. Washington becomes the fifth UA player to be charged as a result of the incident.

Defensive back Jourdon Grandon and offensive tackle Fabbians Ebbele have been charged with first-degree criminal trespassing and assault, while safety Jared Tevis was charged with trespassing. Offensive lineman Eric Bender-Ramsay had originally been facing the same charges as Grandon and Ebbele, although the assault charge was subsequently dropped.

Grandon and Ebbele are not being permitted to practice with the team and are still on the team -- for now. The other three are still permitted to participate in spring practice.
