Georgia safety will miss the season following toe surgery

Georgia’s secondary has been taking some hits lately. Earlier this month, the school confirmed freshman defensive back Reggie Wilkerson would miss the season because of a knee injury.

Now, another Bulldog, freshman safety Paris Bostick, is out for the year because of toe surgery for an injury he sustained during his senior season at Tampa Plant High School. He’ll take a redshirt season and have four years of eligibility beginning in 2014.

While Bostick wasn’t expected to play as big of a role early for Georgia’s defense like Wilkerson, his absence does affect depth at that position.

Bostic was a three-star member of UGA’s 2013 class.
