Mauk has not played since completing 15-of-30 throws for 180 yards and a touchdown in a 21-13 loss to Kentucky back on Sept. 26. He closes his junior season with 654 passing yards and six touchdowns with four interceptions on 57-of-110 passing.
Freshman Drew Lock will presumably play out the string as the Tigers’ quarterback. He’s currently riding a three-game streak in which he hasn’t thrown a touchdown pass or completed 50 percent of his passes. For the year, Lock is 77-of-152 for 763 yards with three scores and three picks.
Missouri (4-4) will look to win two of its final four games against Mississippi State, BYU, Tennessee and Arkansas with an offense that ranks 124th nationally in yards per play and next-to-last in scoring.
