FAU line coach Garin Justice officially takes same job at Arizona

Rich Rodriguez reached back to his Mountain State past to add a coach to his Arizona staff.

Prior to Florida Atlantic’s bowl game Tuesday night, reports surfaced that Lane Kiffin‘s offensive line coach, Garin Justice, was expected to take the same job at Arizona. Not long after FAU obliterated overmatched Akron in a Boca Raton Bowl rout, UA confirmed that Justice has officially accepted the job.

Justice just completed his second season with the Owls.

From 2001-05, Justice played offensive line for Rodriguez at West Virginia. Justice began his coaching career as a graduate assistant for the Mountaineers in 2006, spending two years at his alma mater before moving on to the same job at Florida State.

Prior to joining Kiffin at FAU, Justice spent five years as the head coach at Concord University in West Virginia.

“I am very excited to bring Garin on staff to be a part of our football program,” Rodriguez said. “He is a former player and coach of mine who has done a great job everywhere he has been. Garin will be an excellent fit for our program and I know our players will enjoy playing for him. We look forward to having him join us here soon at the bowl site.”
