Four-star Alabama commit Khris Bogle flips to Florida

And we officially have CFT’s first use of the word “flip” on National Signing Day 2019.

Last month, four-star defensive lineman Khris Bogle verbally committed to Alabama. In the days leading up to Wednesday, however, there was a growing sentiment that the high schooler could ultimately opt for either Florida or Miami.

At a signing ceremony at his Ft. Lauderdale high school earlier this morning, Bogle revealed that he has indeed decided to sign with the Gators instead of following through on his commitment to the Crimson Tide.

A four-star prospect, Bogle is rated as the No. 3 weakside defensive end in the country; the No. 10 player at any position in the state of Florida; and the No. 71 player overall on 247Sports.com‘s composite board.

Florida came into Wednesday with the 11th-ranked signing class; the Bogle flip bumps them to No. 10. Despite the loss, top-ranked Alabama still maintains a relatively comfortable lead over No. 2 Georgia in the 247Sports.com composite rankings.
