Another Florida grad transfer LB enters NCAA transfer database

On the same day Florida lost a linebacking Johnson, the Gators lost a linebacking Jackson as well.

Pitt confirmed Wednesday that it had added former Florida linebacker Kylan Johnson to Pat Narduzzi‘s roster. Around the same time, reports began to surface that one of Johnson’s UF teammates, fellow linebacker Rayshad Jackson, had decided to place his name into the NCAA transfer database.

A UF official subsequently confirmed that Jackson’s name is in the portal.

Jackson (pictured, flying through the air) was a three-star member of the Gators’ 2015 recruiting class. After redshirting as a true freshman, Jackson played in 33 games the past three seasons. The only three starts during his time in Gainesville came this past season.

As a graduate transfer, Jackson would be eligible to play immediately at another FBS school.
